Thank You Card

Rather than color all the details of this pretty stamp, I used a circle punch to remove a small section of the stamped image, then used the Spotlight technique to color just the small punched out portion. I then offset the colored piece by raising the rest of the card with dimensionals, and replacing the colored section without dimensionally raising it. A simple way to draw your attention to a section of the image without all the trouble to color the entire image.

Christmas Gift Tag #3

The Silver Bells on this Christmas gift tag will look so nice on a gift. The bells are each popped up with dimensionals. A bit hard to see, but there are pine needles stamped on the edges of the bottom layer. A sprig of holly and some red bling are a great addition.

Thanks Card

What a great way to say Thanks by sending a card with a bunch of sunflowers. I wanted to use the sample in Stampin’ Up!’s catalog but didn’t want to make my card that size, so I tweaked it a bit. I love how perfectly my background paper worked on this project. And I chose to use dimensionals to pop up the large flowers.

Gift Tag

Some time ago I promised to give my neighbor a small plant from my flower bed. Of course that meant that I would need a gift tag. I fussy cut the image, added some die cut leaves, then placed it on a scalloped oval and popped everything up with dimensionals. Some stitching was placed at the top & bottom, then placed onto a white base. A tiny gold cord bow finished it off. I hope she likes it!

BBQ Invite

It won’t be long before we’re all planning outdoor activities for the summer. I hope my friends will like my BBQ invitation. I tore the top edge and sponged it to look like it is burnt. The grill is fussy cut, sponged and raised with dimensionals to give it some depth. The entire background is sponged, and then I added some small die cut flowers to fill in the bottom corner. Hope you like it and make your own invitation.
