Thank You Card

Rather than color all the details of this pretty stamp, I used a circle punch to remove a small section of the stamped image, then used the Spotlight technique to color just the small punched out portion. I then offset the colored piece by raising the rest of the card with dimensionals, and replacing the colored section without dimensionally raising it. A simple way to draw your attention to a section of the image without all the trouble to color the entire image.

Halloween Card

Card front

I needed a pop up Halloween card for my upcoming card class. I try to keep everything as simple as possible in case there are beginner stampers attending. Do you think I succeeded?

Christmas Gift Tag #6

This is the last of my tags for now. I embossed snowflakes on the layer behind the stocking, added some snowflake sequins and some silver glitter paper on the stocking top. The designer paper add a bit more detail.

Halloween Box

The holidays are fast approaching. If you like to use homemade decorations like I do, then there’s no better time than now to start working on your Halloween decor. I hope you like my Halloween Box that has a surprise inside. This box can be used for decorating but there’s plenty of space to fill the inside with treats.

Happy Birthday Card

I had to find the time to make this card because there are a lot of pieces to prepare when you use die cuts to make the pansies. Of course you can also make the pansies with the coordinating stamp set. Maybe I’ll try that way next time . . . Then I’ll compare to see which way I prefer. And don’t forget – there are dozens if color combinations for pansies so be sure to choose the one you like best.
